Calendars Net Data File Upload

Full Path and Name of Your Calendar Data File to Upload:

This is the name of your calendar file (with .cal at the end) that is on your computer (for example, mycal.cal). Or it can be a specially formatted event list (with .idt at the end), if you know how to manage those files.

Your Settings Password for this Calendar (if one exists):

This is the top-level password you created for your calendar, as it currently resides on the Calendars Net server. If you did not create one, do so by going to:

http://www.calendars.net/cals/NAME[of your calendar]/admin/security

If the upload form produces an error message about the CFFILE tag, then you need to create a Windows file type, whether your browser is Netscape or IE.

To do so, load My Computer or Windows Explorer and go to the menu View/ Folder Options /File Types. Create a new file type called iCal with extension cal and mime type text/cal. Create a new Action, SAVE, using notepad.exe as the "application used to perform action." Check the "confirm after download" box. Click Close twice. Return to Calendars Net Data File Upload and try again.
